Yesterday my daughter graduated from the University of Akureyri
She has a BA degree in Psychology.

The graduation party was held in her home.
My daughter loves fruits and berries

The drink was made of pinapple juice, orange juice, apple juice, sprite and grenadin syrup and was very refreshing.

December, my favorite month of the year.  This December was all about the family, my son came home from Denmark with his wife and two sons and stayed for 3 weeks. I love being a grandmother!  Here you can see some of what we did this month!

Finally it's summer here in North Iceland and we've had unusually warm weather after an unusually hard winter. The extreme in the weather is very strange but I'm enjoying the warmth we are having now so I'm not complaining. I tried a new very refreshing drink today. Lemon, lime, sparkling water  and mint mmmmmm.
I also made my first macaronis, tasted delicious too.

Fresh lime and mint leaves.

Refreshing in the sun.

Macaronis in the making.

Ready to enjoy.

Quality time :)

As you have seen in my earlier blog I went to a seminar to learn how to decorate bowls. My daughter made one bowl a few days ago as a present for her boyfriends mother. I decided to try something else......
.....I decided to decorate a glass bottle and see how it would turn out. it's a bottle we use to serve water.
To bad I forgot to photograph the bottle before I decorated it.

The bowl my daughter made for her boyfriends mother  :)

The water bottle.

Beautiful roses.

Have a nice day :)
